POSITION: Executive Assistant to the CEO

COMPENSATION: $40-$50K + Benefits

HOURS: 8AM -- 6PM (hours can vary based on projects)

LOCATION: Warrenton VA

DEGREE REQUIRED: Preferred/not mandatory

Our company is a fast paced high end construction firm with national ties to work as well. We are looking to hire an experienced Executive Assistant to support their very busy and dynamic CEO. This person's main responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the CEO and run office management functions daily. The ideal candidate for this role must have at least 5 years of support experience, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and able to demonstrate initiative with the ability to navigate and succeed in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to operate, with little direction, to seamlessly anticipate the needs of the CEO. This candidate MUST be able to travel inside the United States to events, conferences and meetings as needed.


Responsibilities of Executive Assistant:

- Schedule meetings and manage an extremely active calendar for the CEO - Keep key people apprised of changes

- Serve as main gatekeeper & thought partner

- Keep CEO organized with meeting materials and immediate priorities (who needs what and when); this may include inbox management and communication/response strategies

- Manage and book CEO's travel (domestic and international) including hotel accommodations, lunch/dinner reservations, car service, etc.

- Attend meetings and take minutes; create presentations and other materials as needed

- Submit expense reports for CEO

- Run project-related errands

- Assist with any personal-related requests

-Manage job schedules and coordinate with customers on various projects and other relevant information

Requirements of Executive Assistant:

- At least ten years related experience in the administrative field in progressively responsible roles

- Experience/exposure dealing with Board of Directors

- Extremely strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel ,PowerPoint, and QuickBooks/Bookkeeping skills

- Previous experience working on big Projects

- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners

- Expert level written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrates proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

- Must have an understanding of and passion for fashion and design

- Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
